Sharks finally restarted, the season from a 2 month break.
New players were tried in this game.
Game started with some attacking and speed. Quite a first as the new players wants to impress for a slot in the coming Nov 08 Tournament.
everyone played hard but due to only playing together for the first time, there were 2 occasions where the team was caught napping. Both resulted in a goal as they manage to beat our offside lines. Leaving only the keeper to beat.
Its quite demoralising to start in such fashion. 1st Half Sharks 0 - 2 Team Black
2nd Half
We did some changes to improve the attack, brought in more quality. Without a glimpse, Sharks pull one back with a solo effort from Syed.
With Syed's Goal, the team begin to gain momentum and with another lop by our Centre Mid Newcomer Andy, We manage to catch team Black napping this time round. Beat their offside Track and Hafshah, our top speedster and striker shot a ROCKET straight into the opponent Goal post leaving the Keeper no chance of saving it. Score is 2 a piece.
We went on to pressure the team with everything we got and in this half they did not have a chance at us at all. Attacks begin to come from the right, with a slip through, Syed manage to pick up a loose ball and he pass it to Hafshah and off he goes again at top gear beating even the keeper who tries to take him down. With that, Sharks lead at 3 - 2.
Nearing to the end of 2nd half, a harsh tackle was given to team black striker, it resulted in a free kick. Team Black take its time. With a good 3 steps the Mid fielder launch a curler to the top left Corner and beyond the reach of our Keeper Faizal. Goal!!! Team Black pulls back an equaliser.
What a Game! Sharks would have won if this free kick did not take place. But as the saying goes, Ball is round and it can be anyone's day.
Kudos to all who turn up. Its a great game indeed after the long break. Sharks maintain their unbeaten run for the year......Do stay tune for next week's update.
