We won today match with only 11 players.
First half,
Today's Team White is a very young team. making up of mostly Early 20s.
They got a striker who is 1.8m and its like marking a tower. We started easy and made a few mistakes in losing possession too easily. But a miracle happen, Our defender Rico gave a hard shot and Team White CentreBack headed the ball backwards and with that we got a OWN goal.
We had only 9 players in the first 10 to 15 mins and for that to happen its was really unexpected. Soon we had the 2 players coming in as they were late.
We were losing possession and put ourselves in unnecessary pressure but another miracle happen when we took a shot it deflected off the opponent's leg but hit another opponent's hand and resulted in a hand ball.
I took the penalty, take a deep breath, and went for the shot, the keeper managed to guess right and punched the ball for a corner. What a miss....... Again we were in pressure due to only leading by 1 Goal.
2nd half,
this time we spoke a little about our mistakes, then decide to play a more passing game. We took on the field with a plan.
We were passing a lot and manage to find more breakthroughs by doing it fast. Team white tackled one of our players and it resulted in a Freekick. Our Last Man, Bala, calmly step forward and with left foot, unleash a powerful outswinger to the top left corner beyond the reach of everyone. All of us ran and celebrated the fantastic Goal. SHARKS Lead by 2 Goals....!
Its truly a moment to savour. The weather begin to heat up as we are playing nearing the hottest period. Team White CentreBack begins to falter and we kept to pur passing game and keep trying to beat their offside trap with our through balls.
Finally we mange to squeeze one through for Sulaiman and without a second thought, he gave a volley and the ball straight into Goal mouth with a nasty right swing. It's truly a Goal of the highest Class.
We showed Class in all areas today despite the thin Squad. SHARKS Finish the game with 3 Goals over Team WHITE.
