  		If I still remember correctly, when Mr Lee passed on in 2015, China paid tribute to LKY by screening an hour of memoirs of LKY on National TV and how he make 93 trips to China to visit 邓小平 and giving advice on how to improve the counrty during the 80s and 90s.

It was shown on CCTV 1 and also on Pheonix channel and I felt so proud and emotional at the same time, to be a Singaporean with such great government led by LKY and I couldn't hold back my tears for his passing...

News of his passing was braodcast in news broadcast for most channels and it really shows how China knows and appreciate the effect of LKY's contribution to China's growth.
