On the fateful day of March 2nd, 2022, I took it upon myself to create an account on Betcoin.ag and make a deposit of a whopping $1000 in order to indulge in some sports betting. Unfortunately, the limits that the website had imposed upon me were abysmally low, leaving me in a state of profound disappointment. As a result of this setback, I resolved to take my chances with the website's sister platform, Playbetr.com, which, to my delight, had much higher limits.
On December 31st, 2022, I decided to create an account on Playbetr.com and deposit an exorbitant amount of $4000. In addition to this, I made two more deposits, one of $1000 to Betcoin.ag and another ranging from $1000 to $2000 on Playbetr.com, all of which were made in Bitcoin. This brought my total deposit amount to an astonishingly high value of around $7000-8000. Yet, despite the sheer enormity of my transactions, I was able to carry them out without encountering any major issues.
At first, I exclusively indulged in NBA bets on Playbetr.com, but to my dismay, my bets did not go as planned, and I found myself losing more often than not. However, as time went on, I was able to place a few successful bets on both websites, although it's worth noting that the bets I placed on one website were entirely different from those I placed on the other.
Following my successful stints, I sought to withdraw my winnings, but to my chagrin, both websites restricted me to stakes that were lower than $10 on NBA and other similar games. I endeavored to withdraw roughly 0.65 BTC from Playbetr.com and almost 0.21 BTC from Betcoin.ag, but my efforts were in vain. In response, both websites requested that I provide them with KYC, which I promptly did, uploading full KYC documents such as pictures of my driver's license, selfies, and address proof, among others.
Much to my surprise, despite having provided all the necessary documentation for verification, I was unable to log into either website the following day. And when I was finally able to do so, I was met with a frustrating inability to access any features on my account. I received emails from both websites accusing me of fraudulent activities and threatening to terminate my account and suspend payouts. According to them, my strategies were aimed at unfaithful winnings or advantage play, and were thus detrimental to their business.
Although Playbetr.com and Betcoin.ag offered to refund my deposit, I declined the offer as their allegations of fraud were preposterous. I have been attempting to contact them since January 3rd, 2023, but to no avail. Even now, a month later, I have received no response, and whenever I try to chat live with them, I am met with the same message: "email for more information sir."
I implore anyone who happens to come across this account of my experience to take heed and steer clear of these websites at all costs.
